Let's take a walk along Shing Mun River 城門河

I can't believe we are in the middle of December and I have not posted anything! Well...it's the end of the year and everyone gets busy .... anyhow, we are very fine and I hope you all are doing great too!

Now, let me share with you another gem in my neighborhood. It is the Shing Mun River (城門河) that is right across my apartment. I was thrilled to find out that it is a wonderful place to go for walkies.

There is a floating restaurant that serves Cantonese food and dim sum.

Shing Mun River is a popular place for water sports and there is a rowing centre nearby, so you can always see people rowing, canoeing and kayaking along the river.

It's a great place for joggers and cyclists too!!!

There are many beautiful flowers to admire as you walk.

In space scarce Hong Kong, you can always see so many high rise apartments, many of them 60 floors and above.

Sometimes, I bring my sister for a walk too!

On one of the weekends, we decided to go to Penfold Park again.

Wow! Look! So many doggies!!! There must have been more than a hundred dogs that day.

You hardly see big dogs walking around in Hong Kong, so I was excited to see a Mountain Bernese!!!

Look!!! A Great Dane!!! Reminds me of my friend, Honey in Australia.

I really like coming here, I can run around and do anything I like!

Best part is of course meeting so many dogs, both big and small!

And you know what? There is going to be a Doggie Christmas Party at Penfold Park on Saturday! I am so looking forward to it!!! I will be definitely be back with loads of photos!

Keep warm everyone!

Oh, that sounds like fun, a Doggie Christmas Party at the park.

Are you serious, 60 stories high? Jan's a bit dizzy just thinking about it.
