Annual Vaccination Day

Time for my annual booster again! Three days ago, I got my injection after a bath. In Taiwan, it's called a 8 in 1 vaccination.

Ouch!

It really didn't hurt a single bit! I sat quietly as the vet administered the jab.

I have a nifty little booklet that contains all my vaccination records.

Vet said that I might have a fever for two days, but luckily, I didn't get it.

I am not allowed on the bed anymore because Mom is asthmatic, but I did managed to sneak into the bedroom when she was busy in the kitchen. I would take every chance to rest my head on the comfortable quilt. Trying to act cute did not work for mom, I was chased out of the room right after this shot. I have my own bed, but well... the grass is always greener on the other side.

A sad update from my friend, Honey the Great Dane

It's been quite a while since we last heard from Honey and her family, today there is a very sad update from her. Honey's owner, Hsin-Yi had to say goodbye to her Dad and their family cat, Lemon, who passed on very suddenly.

Lemon (20/10/2003 ~ 27/01/2009)

It is very hard to lose a loved one and to lose two in a row is really too much to bear. Please drop by their blog to give some words of comfort: http://bighoneydog.com/2009/02/19/lemon

Big warm hugs to Honey and Family. We love you!

Sweet Coco is looking for a good home 请大家一起來轉PO,帮黃金妹妹找新家。

Remember Coco, the pretty girl at the horse farm that I was smitten with?

Coco and me!

She was a rescue and was boarding temporarily at the horse farm. The sweet girl is now up for adoption and looking for a loving home. She is a high energy golden and she will thrive well with an active family who will give her lots of exercise and even another dog so that she can have a playmate too!

I asked Dad and Mom if we could bring Coco home, but the time is not right for us, so for now, I can only help her look for a nice loving home to go to. Below are her details, if you are interested and fit the requirements for her or if you have any inquiries about Coco, please email Sue at windhorsefarm@gmail.com

If you are reading this from Taiwan, please help me spread the word too! Thanks!

Name (名字): Coco
Breed (品種): Golden Retriever 黃金獵犬
Sex (性別): Female (spayed) 母, 已結紮

Missed me? I am finally back!

Actually, I have been back for four days, but I have been busy settling down at home. I have so much to update, let me first share with you some photos from my stay at the horse farm.

Here are some photos from my daily runs with Sue, the owner of the farm.

This is one of Sue's favorite photo of my tail blowing in the wind. And what a beautiful view of the mountain in the background!

The resident dogs and I run together while Sue cycles ahead.

My oh my! How much further?

I gotta be quick!

No surprise that I finished last. That was a good workout!

Sue gave me a teddy bear and I loved to carry it around with me.

I shared my favorite toy with my friends at the farm too! Unfortunately, I beheaded it before I could bring it home.

Oh and guess what? I lost 2kg/4.4lbs during my stay. I am now much fitter and lighter at 38kg/83.6lbs. Many thanks to Sue for her care and exercise program during my stay.

Look out for my next post about my girlfriend, Coco and my birthday loot!

A Very BIG Surprise from The Four Musketeers

Mom couldn't believe her eyes when the postman delivered this package for me! It's the biggest present I have ever received! The Four Musketeers contacted mom for our address because they wanted to send me a birthday gift. Since Mom is in Singapore, she gave them a Singapore address to send it to.

Here it is! Wow!

It is filled up with so many goodies!

A beautiful double sided birthday card!

Look! They even included a puppy pic of me!

Mom told me all about it and I really can't wait to see it! I will have to thank you all personally when I get home.

A BIG thank you to Cody, Joyce, Lady, Zena and their Sissy for their very generous gift. We are all very moved by it! Muah!

Greetings from the Horse Farm

Hello my friends! I hope everyone is well and safe. I am so sorry for not keeping in touch with you all for the whole of last week. Just to drop a quick note to let you all know that I am fine and having a ball at the horse farm.

Here are some photos when I first arrived:

I was a little overwhelmed at first.

Some butt sniffing to get to know one another.

Hello there!

Now, who is this gorgeous babe?

It's Coco! I think I am in love!

Coco playing bitey with her friend.

Here are some of the other resident dogs at the farm, they look like they are calling the shots at the farm.

And some birdies!

And duckies too!

Of course a horse farm is not complete without horses.

Look at these beautiful horses!

There is even one with a heart-shaped print!

Don't leave me here, Dad....

I think it's going to be great fun here!

Don't worry about me, I am getting along fine with my new friends and receiving lots of love and attention. I miss you all and I promise I will be back again very soon! Take care everyone!
